Showtime Networks Inc. (SNI) is looking for a Manager, Business Affairs.

Reporting to the VP, Business Affairs, the individual in this position will perform contract review and analysis of both talent agreements and license agreements for digest and dissemination both internally and externally. Manage credit administration, review and approval of Showtime original programming material used in advertising, marketing and promotion of our series and documentaries.

Responsibilities include:

RIGHTS ANALYIS:

Title Rights Analysis: Read and analyze License Agreements in order to determine Showtime's rights to exploit the program on the Showtime Services. Digest the rights, window and playdate information necessary for planning & scheduling each program.

Title Management: Liaise with production and creative executives to establish the official title of each program, season and episode. Make sure proposed titles adhere to company Data Governance guidelines and confirm spelling and punctuation. Communicate final title information to different company departments including PR, Program Planning & Scheduling, Creative Services, Interstitial, Metadata Management & Program Operations.

CREDIT/ TITLE ADMINISTRATION:

Advertising /Marketing/ PR Approvals: Review and approve advertising, marketing and promotional materials for the exploitation and distribution of Showtime Original Programming. The reviews, approvals and comments extend to a number of tactics ranging from off-air TV Spots, digital banners, email blasts, newsletters, pre-rolls, Affiliate ads (DirecTV, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Apple+), Hotel/Motel ads and promotions, DVD/Video Box covers, and PR materials for press kits.

Merchandising Obligations: Analyze talent contracts and create summaries of promotional and merchandising obligations/ restrictions These summaries set forth the provisions of talent agreements pertaining to promotional obligations, photo approvals (and other approvals like BTS photography), whether or not the company obtained merchandising rights and/ or separated rights and whether and whether or not there are any corresponding approvals required.

WGA Worklist & NTWC's: Liaise with the Writers Guild of America through compiling and submitting weekly work lists of Writers preforming writing services on Showtime Development and Production products. Compile and submit the Notice of Tentative Writing Credits for every episode of every originally produced series. Compile scripts and writing materials in preparation for any Writers Guild Credit arbitrations.

General Credit Administration: Assist Director, Credits Administration with the Guilds regarding credits as necessary. These responsibilities may include filing of special credits waivers, requests for on-screen main and end titles approval, and advertising approvals when appropriate. Maintain Credit Status chart indicating credit status for all original titles.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4 - 5 years administration experience in entertainment industry required
• Contract Analysis and/or credits experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and analyze contracts
• Must be a highly organized person with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and juggle many responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Industry standard and guild practices related to Credits Administration.
• Attention to detail an absolute must.
• Cordial, professional and able to interact comfortably with different levels of management and different working styles.
