Sesame Workshop is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Human Resources focusing on international reporting to the VP, Human Resources. The Senior Managers' responsibilities will span across Human Resources activities and will focus on our international offices. The ideal candidate will have international HR experience, ideally from a non-profit, social impact or media organization.

Duties include:
• Partner with Human Resources and Sesame Workshop leaders on all aspects of the employee lifecycle with a focus on international employees
• Help to establish, manage the operational support across Country Offices, with clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations communicated to CO and NY Center.
• Ensure the timely and thoughtful roll out of employee programs and communications appropriate for the region
• Amplify our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programing and strategy, infusing our values into our culture and people practices and processes
• Support the performance management process including employee training, support, and adoption of performance review software
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation across regions
• Establish process for and maintenance of international employee records in partnership with other HR stakeholders, synthesize information with international offices
• Support leaders in designing org structures and working models aligned to our goals
• Build close relationships with HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR programs and process
• Coach managers to deliver helpful feedback, addressing all aspects of performance
• Support effectiveness managing teams collaborating asynchronously and in a hybrid environment across regions
• Manage projects with multiple and diverse stakeholders across regions

Requirements:
• B.A., B.S., degree preferred
• At least 8 years of human resources, including ownership on client groups
• Experience with international HR
• Experience recruiting for a variety of roles at all levels
• Experience overseeing performance management process, including employee training, communications and counseling managers and employees
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills and technology acumen
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Experience developing and delivering employee presentations
• Familiar with and enthusiastic about implementing HR best practices
• Accessible and effective in dealing with people at all levels in the organization
• Able to work across multiple time zones and flex work hours accordingly
• Enjoys working collaboratively on a team
• Ability to travel internationally on occasion if required

This is a fixed term staff position, expected to end in June of 2024, with the possibility for extension, depended on funding
