Job Description
Overview

We are looking for Seating System Coordinator to join our family!

This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the Retractable Seating Systems at the AT&T Center and to ensure they are event ready and operational. This position also functions as an overnight Conversion Crew Leader who leads others in setting up and removing stages, chairs and equipment for all AT&T Center events which may include NBA and NCAA games, concerts, and special events.

Responsibilities
• Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of a complex Retractable Seating System
• Implement and train staff on operating procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, emergency plans, and safety/risk management programs.
• Be an expert in identifying problems with multiple wheels, motors, and large moving structures
• Be available to work overnights and weekends according to a predetermined calendar of events
• Be mechanically inclined with good mechanic skills to always have the Retractable Seating System ready and operational
• Train others to learn and assist in the operation and maintenance of the RSS
• Train a backup operator for the system
• Keep an inventory of all parts, wheels, and other equipment necessary for emergency repairs
• Be a leader of part-time staff and temporary workers to setup and remove stages, chairs, and other equipment as defined by event needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• College degree and/or mechanical knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook with an eagerness to learn other platforms.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, boom lifts, or other large mechanical equipment. Certifications preferred.
• Experience as a mechanic
• Enjoy troubleshooting problems and making repairs, with a proficient understanding of electrical concepts and terms.
• Meet the physical demands of this role, which includes being able to get in and around the facility (requires personal mobility), lifting up to 75lbs., carrying, moving, climbing, and working from various heights with moderate to loud noises. Stand/Sit/Walk for long periods of time.
