Responsibilities

What You'll Do

The Supervisor, Residual Processing will plan, organize, and manage the resources assigned to the Residuals Processing Department.

• Responsible for supervising all Residuals Processing Staff.
• Consistently reviews and updates all process documents to ensure that an up-to-date map of department functions are readily available for the purposes of training, retaining and improving the process.
• Responsible for daily operations, workflow, and scheduling, as well as training of permanent and temporary staff to ensure the workflow is streamlined, efficient, consistent, and error-free.
• Handle performer inquiries, via phone & mail, regarding residual processing question.
• Routinely analyzes all processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, and makes recommendations for ways to improve the process and implements those changes.
• Keeps management abreast of department progress, workflow delays and issues, performer questions and/or any other departmental complaints.
• Works with management and Workflow Coordinators to determine current and future departmental goals and needs.
• Recommends solutions to management for improvement relating to the flow of information, systems, procedures, staffing, equipment, resources, etc.
• Generate periodic reports to track the status of departments. (Residuals Processing)
• Responsible for managing, training, mentoring, developing, evaluating and assessing direct reports.
• Responsible for assisting in resource management through scheduling, equipment allocation, etc.
• Analyzes all processes routinely to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and error-free work.
• Builds and maintains working relationships within SAG-AFTRA and outside with counterparts at the Studio in an effort to help meet departmental goals, and provide optimal member service.
• Manage new projects or initiatives through to completion.
• Performs other duties as assigned or as situations dictate.

• Have an understanding and awareness of worker rights impacting SAG-AFTRA members.

• Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor.
• Must be able to work in a challenging environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.
• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at SAG-AFTRA's sole discretion.
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours (and/or overtime for applicable non- exempt positions) per day or per week, including weekends as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs.
• Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school graduate or equivalent.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience and knowledge of Residuals Processing, Trusts and Estates preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years managing staff (preferred, not required)
• Project Management experience is a plus.
