Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Identify estate representatives. Provide them with pertinent information to submit correct documentation for distribution of funds.

• Interpret wills and trust documents to determine rightful beneficiary.
• Communicate approved beneficiary documentation which may include updated beneficiary, address updates, corporation dissolution and other relevant information studios and payroll houses.
• Triage estate inquiries and provide required information to beneficiaries and other authorized parties.
• Create standard correspondence & form letters.
• Audit Oracle for duplicate records and multiple relationships in need of possible closure.
• Process returned checks not issued to established beneficiary on file.
• Prepare documents for scanning into the CARA/Documentum system and shared drives.
• Process all death notifications from received.
• Manage estates email inbox in collaboration with other team members.
• Process assigned cases from management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrate effective skills in the use of PC applications
• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by SAG-AFTRA.
• Must be courteous, organized and able to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively through letters, email, phone calls and reports as required
• Knowledge of Oracle a plus.
• Ability to show empathy and use good judgment when interacting with customers.
• Operation of standard office equipment
• Knowledge and ability to create standard professional correspondence
• Ability to work independently as well as part of part of a team
• Strong customer service skills and excellent telephone manner are necessary
• Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor
• Some college preferred
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours (and/or overtime for applicable non- exempt positions) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Detail oriented
• Able to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines
• Able to work under pressure
• Superlative interpersonal skills: high degree of patience and tact. Must be able to cultivate respectful, strategic and collaborative relationships with people from diverse backgrounds both internally and externally
• Must be able to work in a challenging environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
• High School or equivalent.
• 2-3 years customer service experience preferred.
• Experience handing heavy phones call volumes.
Certifications and/or Registrations: N/A
TESTING REQUIREMENTS:
• Basic skills: spelling, math, grammar and filing – passing score: 76%
• Microsoft Word and Excel tests (basic and intermediate) – passing score: 76%
• 10-Key test (by touch) – passing score 76%
• Typing test 35 WPM
