The Overview
Our Vice President will be the point person to lead multiple premier emerging technology and gaming clients. We look to you to drive creative ideas, reshape client business problems into strategic briefs and develop innovative solutions. If you are a dynamic, highly strategic media relations and PR professional with a strong public relations background, we are looking for you!
You will be accountable for quality control and review of budgets, planning and strategy decks, recaps, vendor and partner contracts, and overall project and team management.
• Please note, the location of this role is flexible. Ideally, it will be based in one of our office locations.
Who you are:
Are you someone that is passionate about technology, gadgets, and video games? Do you thrive in working in a fast-paced role that requires you to counsel clients on overall earned media strategy, landscape analysis, and consumer trends?
We're looking for someone with a solid track record of earned media results, and with experience working as part of an integrated marketing team representing the PR POV for campaigns.
As a leader, you will draw upon your past experience in mentoring and coaching rising stars in your team. Your work will allow you to interact with a variety of clients and key partners (internal and external) to achieve program goals and objectives, strong communication skills will go far. You will work with peers to cultivate the mission and goals of the agency.
You should be accustomed to approaching your work with a results-oriented mentality. You'll seek out change and adopt critical questioning, innovation, service, and continuous evolution.
The Needs:
• 10+ years of PR experience; large agency/client experience strongly preferred
• Tech and gaming PR experience is a must with proven relationships with the respective media, such as CNET, PCWorld, iMore, TechCrunch, Android Central, IGN, GamesRadar, Kotaku, etc.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, comfort driving, and executing several initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to think critically, and convert the results of complex analysis in a straightforward way
• Experience in leading scope of work and budgets
• Enjoy working on multiple projects at the same time and prioritizing work based on designated timeframes
• Skilled at providing direction and mentorship to team members, can collaborate with multiple partners, and demonstrate positive relationship building skills
