The Overview:
Rogers & Cowan PMK's Digital Entertainment, Games and Toys PR team is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Account Executive to join a highly creative team that works with the biggest and most innovative leaders in the world of digital entertainment brands.
The Fine Print:
• Identify, develop & pitch stories that drive earned coverage
• Build & grow relationships with media
• Drive strategic recommendations for ongoing outreach and relationship development
• Serve as a key contact for clients; proactively anticipate client questions and concerns
• Lead and execute projects and news announcements with limited guidance
• Experience with executive visibility/booking speaking engagements
• Use creativity to help develop results-driven marketing and public relations programs that fit into the client's overall objectives
• Guide & train junior level staff
The Needs:
• 3+ years in gaming PR agency or in-house experience
• Knowledge in developing media strategies, identifying story angles, writing press releases and materials and securing premier coverage for clients
• Love media pitching and own strong media relationships in the gaming and entertainment space
• Strong experience and familiarity in evolving earned media landscape
• Ability to lead a project, meet deadlines, and balance multiple tasks at the same time
• Experience in developing comprehensive PR reports
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills is a requirement
• Very organized with unfailing attention to detail
• Able to perform well under pressure and be a great teammate
