The Fine Print:
• Serve as the first point of contact for employees, providing general employee assistance on benefits, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and build strong and positive relationships with managers, providing a resource for sound HR advice.
• Manage the payroll process in partnership with our payroll team. Ensuring accurate and timely process management.
• Manage junior staff employee relations e.g. performance, probation check-ins, and expiration. Coach people managers on to how to successfully onboard and manage employees
• Run the onboarding process for new hires and provide continuous feedback to enhance the employee onboarding experience
• Manage the off-boarding experience, using data and insights to suggest recommendations to retain our top talent
• Responsible for crafting and updating policies, templates, and toolkits to support the P&C processes e.g. promotions, salary review, bonuses, redundancy, mediation
• Support P&C projects and initiatives across various HR and business functions e.g. L&D, Wellness, Onboarding.
• Support analyzing and reporting P&C data, providing insights and recommendations on improving processes, structures, and how we can continue to improve our overall employee experience
• Stay on top of employment law and inform/update the wider partnering team, across both New York state and California.

The Needs:

• Previous experience (2+ years) as an HR Coordinator/Assistant achieved in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you'll have supported across recruitment, reward, learning and development, and employee relations.
• Experience handling employee relations cases
• A culture champion whose passion lays in building rapport with managers
• Capability and confidence in challenging as well as supporting managers
• SHRM qualified or willing to study for SHRM
• Fun, teammate who works collaboratively for the success of the wider team
• Deals with confidential information with tact and diplomacy, 100% discreet
• Excellent organizational skills
