Responsibilities
The Overview:
R&CPMK is looking for an Account Manager with proven experience in celebrity and influencer talent relations, as well as integrated brand marketing and strategy. This position would spearhead the development and execution of new entertainment marketing campaigns, activations, and events for various agency accounts.
We are looking for someone who can start quickly, demonstrate initiative, and seek new challenges in a fast-paced environment. Our team loves problem-solving and expects each member to deliver creative solutions and ideas in a proactive manner. This candidate is a natural project manager, a multi-tasker, and fully comfortable leading client-facing initiatives.
The Fine Print:
• Primary, day-to-day business lead across multiple accounts and will ensure successful program management and execution
• Apply clients' strategic priorities and business objectives to daily activities
• Negotiate and execute brand deals and partnerships/collaborations with celebrity talent/influencers/digital influencers
• Utilize research and knowledge of trends of the ever-changing entertainment landscape to identify and recommend celebrity/influencer talent to support our clients' marketing objectives (including, but not limited to: digital/social media stars, actors, musicians, artists, athletes, content creators, gamers, etc.)
• Act as the primary point of contact for talent agents/managers/publicists, collaborating closely between client and talent to implement marketing programs
• Initiate and lead negotiations with talent/influencers from the initial offer, through contract and execution stages
• Create program budgets, track associated spending, and reconcile invoices
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, team members, other agency partners, and external industry peers/colleagues
• Identify, develop, and drive programs that accomplish client objectives
• Support junior and senior-level colleagues by contributing to research, project support, client management
• Help mentor and encourage the growth and development of junior staff
• Build deck presentations and recap decks/reports of programming/activations
• Provide analysis, standard methodologies, and recommendations for the clients
• Remain abreast of current and emerging entertainment and industry trends, headlines, and notable news for competitive positioning
• Event production needs and staffing of events and on-site activations (e.g., content shoots, launches, etc.)
The Needs:
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in entertainment marketing and/or celebrity and influencer talent relations, preferably within an agency or entertainment marketing company, or from in-house at a brand
• Passion for entertainment, film, television, music, and celebrity/pop culture
• Knowledge of current events (award shows, film festivals, major sporting events, etc.) as well as different types of celebrity-driven marketing programs (PR, content, sponsorships, seeding, etc.)
• Experience in celebrity talent/influencer/digital influencer/content creator landscape with a consistent track record of talent procurement for various initiatives or programming
• Existing and established contacts/relationships with talent representatives (agents, managers, publicists, etc.) in the Film, TV, Music, and Sports industries.
• Proven experience with talent deal negotiations and drafting talent agreements
• Outstanding interpersonal skills – both written and verbal, along with unfailing attention to detail
• Outstanding time-management skills including the ability to optimally balance multiple projects simultaneously that are deadline-sensitive
• Excellent digital literacy, master of the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Some event production experience
