The Overview

Rogers & Cowan PMK seeks an experienced Account Director to oversee multiple programs and execution for various client's gaming and esports partnerships. The position will be responsible for the overall planning/execution of the partnership elements on a global level. This person will also have various day-to-day program management and client/agency integration responsibilities. A gaming and esports industry background is required. Additional background and knowledge in other areas including technology and innovation would be great.

The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and within a multi-agency team setting, while supporting the brand focused initiatives and event activation. This role requires solid client management background, communication skills, and experience in developing strategic recommendations, including event management/hospitality experience.

The Fine Print
• Lead plan development and agency execution of activities and programming related to client's global esports sponsorship properties including (but not limited to):
• Facilitate integration of Global Esports marketing initiatives with North American based client and agency teams
• Lead the development of fully integrated marketing activation plans, strategies, budgets and deliverables
• Create and lead cross-channel B2C programs
• Coordinate B2B hospitality programming
• Manage program recaps and measurement reporting, including client presentation development
• Build and strengthen relationships with gaming and esports properties on behalf of clients
• Lead the event marketing management and execution (Project plans, Budget management, Timelines)
• Identify, curate and evaluate potential partnership opportunities in gaming & esports to align with client strategic needs.
• Prepare written POV's on all relevant client sponsorship and partnership opportunities
• Monitor and research competitive activity for existing clients and produce report of findings
• Lead planning and execution of custom marketing programs
• Serve as liaison for approvals across creative/branding, PR, digital and social media, and media partner promotions
• Development and management of specific materials related to individual events, including management of accompanying digital platforms and all activation elements
• Remain abreast of current and emerging industry trends, headlines, and notable news
• Lead a diverse team of Account Managers and Account Executives

The Needs
• A passion for gaming – this isn't just a job for you
• Proven experience in gaming and/or esports industry – additional agency experience a tremendous plus
• 7-10 years agency/client service experience in partnerships – some time in client service focused agency a requirement
• Strong client service. You should be full of energy and have a positive 'can do' demeanor that you share with the team, alongside priding yourself on delivering excellence in client services and high standards project delivery across the board
• Ability to balance requirements from multiple clients.
• Experience with implementing marketing plans and on-site event execution.
• Experience in document writing including status reports, recaps, industry/competitive analysis
• Capacity to serve as a day-to-day client contact, and operate within a dynamic, global working environment across different time zones and cultures.
• Excellent communications skills – both written and verbal. A writing and PowerPoint assignment may be part of the hiring process.
• Strong budget management and/or reconciliation experience
• Supervise and sustain relationships with key partners (e.g. properties, venues, vendors, suppliers, etc.)
• Excellent computer skills, master of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and collaboration platforms
• Ability and flexibility to travel and weekend/holiday work as needed

Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
