The Overview:
We are looking for an Account Director, within our Content Partnerships and Brand Integration team. As part of an international team, this exciting position will require a firm knowledge of the entertainment landscape including content, product placement, promotions, and media. This integrated role will allow you to be creative and strategic in shaping client campaigns while also sourcing and carrying out brand integrations in current scripted and unscripted programming across film, television, and digital content (OTT). The Fine Print:
The Account Director will work closely with an integrated agency team, as well as the R&C PMK Brand/Entertainment Marketing group.
• Acting as a Client Relationship Manager, you will lead the entertainment marketing program and a team of individuals working with the brand
• Lead and run creative conceptualization and execution of client marketing and integration strategy and campaigns
• Lead creative for executions that will drive earned media coverage
• Work with other agency teams across tentpole campaign moments and sponsorships – i.e. Super Bowl, The Oscars, Cannes as well as partnerships with the NFL and Live Nation
• Provide analysis and recommendations for proposed client activities and placement projects
• Outreach to production offices/production companies, publicists, studios, and networks.
• Negotiate with studio executives, producers, writers, prop masters, set decorators, costume designers, location managers, transportation coordinators, and makeup artists on film, scripted/unscripted TV, OTT content, and music videos
• Find opportunities to enhance programs through marketing assets
• Implement promotional programs to support integrations where possible
• Track, evaluate and measure results to facilitate explanations on progress/success during every step of a partner campaign, including detailed reports to the client
• Manage client program budgets, invoices, and purchase orders with finance partners
The Needs:
A strong Client Service background is needed, including expertise in 360 entertainment marketing programs. You are a multi-tasker, natural project manager and possess expertise in fully integrated entertainment programs.
• 6-8+ years' experience in entertainment marketing
• Tenured experience within an agency setting preferred supporting a large national account
• Ability to identify and evaluate new opportunities for the growth of the Client's business and Agency
• Prior experience serving as liaison between Client and other agency partners and team members
• Depth of knowledge of emerging trends in entertainment (content, pop culture and new media formats)
• Promotional expertise and experience as well as a keen understanding of brand integration is vital
• Relationships and ample experience with networks, film studios and OTT content for brand integration
• Capacity to become an authority on client's brand and the state of client's industry
• Experience overseeing and leading executional deliverables and program activation
• Previous experience working with contracts and reviewing these types of business documents
• Experience analyzing and reporting against metrics in place
• Proficient in carrying out location shoots working with productions and leading teams
• Capacity and confidence to become a presenter of materials to clients and new business prospects
• Outstanding organizational skills with proven ability to take initiative and effectively problem solve in a timely manner.
