Please note this role is either to be conducted fully remote or with a relocation to our only studio, which is based in London. We do have a distributed work style with some of our colleagues working across Europe.

Rocksteady is looking for a Senior Tools Programmer to join our dedicated and collaborative team to work on our upcoming AAA title Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

This role involves designing and building tools for other members of the development team, such as artists, designers and testers. These tools assist in asset creation, game scripting, level layout, testing and more.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to support, improve and enhance their workflow
• Work closely with other programming teams to create interfaces for back-end systems
• Maintain and support existing tools and workflows

Requirements
• Solid communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members
• Ability to understand and work through support requests raised by team members
• Experience working with a UI framework to build desktop applications
• Proficiency reading, writing and debugging in C or C++
• Well-organised and efficient

Bonus Points
• Experience working on a game project or game engine
• Familiarity with a scripting language like Python
