Community Manager (FTC)

Rocksteady Studios is an award-winning, critically acclaimed video game developer. Founded in 2004, we are home to the widely celebrated Batman: Arkham series of games. Our philosophy for game development is all about treating people well to create quality entertainment that stands the test of time. We're a one-project studio that built our success by combining genre-defining gameplay and character-driven cinematic narrative with AAA production values. Born in the heart of London, our multicultural team takes inspiration from the culture and history of our home in one of the most diverse cities in the world.

We are looking for a talented Community Manager who is ready for the challenge of producing video content for a AAA title on Console platforms & PC.
Our Community Manager will be responsible for coordinating with both the Lead Community Manager and broader studio team (comprising a diverse range of disciplines) to build world class communications and community focused campaigns.

They will be an advocate for our community, representing the player-voice across the broader Development and Publishing teams, ensuring they remain heard and empowered; with an equally important aim to nurture a welcoming, inclusive and positive game community for all of our players.

This role is hybrid or fully-onsite, with an expectation to work from our London studio on a weekly basis. This role is open as a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Act as a key voice of the development team within our community
• Daily management of social media channels, including scheduled and reactive content
• Develop communication strategies and effective benchmarks to foster and scale tight-knit communities
• Monitor and regularly report on player sentiment, trends and needs
• Assist the outsourced Community Team on day-to-day tasks
• Produce, Edit and Schedule video content and livestreams
• Playing and capturing gameplay using game code for use in community assets
• Organizing and attending events to support the promotional calendar
• Presenting our games, including livestreaming and public events
• Identify our community's favourite influencers and work with our publisher to support their content

Qualifications & Experience…
• Previous relevant experience in Community management or a social media communications role
• Practical experience and knowledge of all major social media and media sharing platforms
• A keen understanding of games across genres and formats, and a understanding of online game community culture
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Proficiency with creative tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, OBS
• Practical experience with livestreaming on platforms including Twitch and YouTube
