Position: Sr. Royalty Accountant

Location: Roc Nation, NY Office (In-Person)

The Role:

Roc Nation, a Live Nation joint venture, is seeking a Royalty Accountant to join our team and help manage artist finances.

Responsibilities:

The Accounting Associate will support many financial aspects of the company, including but not limited to:
• Track artist earnings and spend for Marketing and A&R (Balance Sheet vs P&L Expenses)
• Manage quarterly budgets for artists on roster
• Assist with Semi-Annual statements
• Ad Hoc reports for Record Label execs as needed
• Assist with AP - advances and vendors
• Reconcile accounts as needed
• Work with production, A&R Admin Team and Marketing Team to be in the know of releases and current projects
• Reconcile Amex and that expenses are being coded to correct project codes
• Invoice for brand deals

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required
• Minimum 3 years' experience within a record label
• Proven track record of good communication skills
• Proficient in spreadsheet software (Excel)
• Oracle accounting software knowledge preferred
