Title: Merchandising Technical Designer (Roc Nation Artist Brand)

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Overview

In this role your primary function will be to assist and support the team/brand with taking their designs from a concept to a manufacturable product. You will need to review and inspect it for quality. You will also measure garments and accessories to align with specifications, attend product fittings, and collaborate with vendors. As the team's technical designer, you must demonstrate the ability to identify potential problems with products and follow through to ensure concerns or flaws are resolved as scheduled.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Compile digital assets across emails, social images, websites and digital ads.
• Work with Design Lead to translate and create Tech Packs and final designs
• Channel-specific merchandise planning, both evergreen and seasonal.
• Contribute to strategy sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
• Help to grow brand presence and category leading innovation across designs

Experience, Skills, Knowledge
• Knowledge of fashion, merchandising and related brands/businesses
• Experienced and knowledgeable in tech pack creation / completion
• 1+ years' experience in graphic design experience preferably in entertainment and/or fashion
• Self-motivated with a proven track record supporting brand initiatives and developing designs that drive creativity and growth
• Strong organizational skills, experience with managing multiple Projects or working in an agency structure preferred
• Strong design, communication skills and time management
• Understanding of confidentiality
