Software Engineer - Global Marketing, Influencer Marketing

As Staff Software Engineer on Influencer Marketing Tech, you'll create products that level up Riot's commitment to its content creators. As part of the Influencer Marketing Tech team, you'll help build Riot's next big bet for content creators from an early stage idea into a working product. In partnership with team leaders you'll assess the feasibility of product opportunities and lead the development of the team's technology roadmap. You will report to the engineering manager of the Influencer Marketing Tech team.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the design of web applications (React) and service integrations (Java) to create useful tools for content creators and influencers
• Ensure the team maintains an appropriate level of quality by writing tests, using CI/CD, and aligning with Riot/industry best practices for software development
• Lead work breakdown and technical execution of multi-month projects in collaboration with team leadership
• Partner with product, user experience, and visual design by providing clear insight into technical requirements and limitations
• Mentor other engineers in your areas of expertise
• Take the lead in technical phone screens and onsite panels to vet other engineers for hiring

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable experience in software development
• 8+ years of industry experience
• Experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience writing web services in Java
• Strengths in collaboration and communication

Desired Qualifications
• Familiarity with ReactJS, TypeScript, and MySQL
• Experience working with UX and visual designers
