Software Engineer - Gameplay: Behavioral Systems Team

As a Software Engineer I on the League of Legends Behavioral Systems team, you will work on an interdisciplinary team collaborating with engineers, UX designers, game designers, and data scientists to protect and improve our players' experience. You will work on projects related to behavior detection, feedback, reporting, punishments, and player education.

The health of our game and community depends on our ability to reduce disruptive behavior and encourage positive behavior. Tech stacks serve as no barrier to your desire to contribute and make big improvements to in-game health. You will propose and develop features and iterate with a scientific process. You will report to the team's Engineering Manager in our office in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:
• Work in multiple stacks including web, C++ game code, and Java services to enable the Behavioral Systems team's meta-game systems
• Develop scalable performant systems that make a huge impact on the League community and the social experience of our players

Required Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience building web applications or services in a client-server architecture
• Proficiency in at least one C-family language (C++, Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc.)
