Job Description
Within this role you will be working within the Publishing Services team focusing on developing our regional channel strategy and ensure that our content is delivered through the right medium to our players, whether it's through influencer partnerships, social media or other emerging channels, you will report to the Director of Publishing Services, you will be based within the Reading, UK office.

You will work across all Riot Products (games, entertainment, esports), collaborating with the EMEA Brand Leads, Global Channel Marketing team (GCM), local publishing teams, and partners to promote content and campaigns across different platforms. You will participate in a community of practice around channel management, ensuring we're all pushing in the same direction and working from the same playbook when we talk to players on our owned channels or through our influencer partners.

The Team

The Publishing Services team in EMEA manages many direct-to-player publishing functions such as social media, communications, influencer relationships, events, content and channel management. The team is dedicated to providing platforms for authentic local interactions and channel experiences for our players, both online and offline. The team will also ensure that our content reaches our players through the right medium.

Responsibilities:
• Lead EMEA's Channel Management team, while fostering their development over time. You will be responsible for mentoring and providing growth opportunities to the team.
• Develop communication, social media and influencer strategy (including vision, goals, roadmap and prioritization) for the EMEA region, working closely with the Brand Leads to ensure our initiatives are in line with the product publishing strategy & our our priorities.
• Represent EMEA interests in global services strategy and SMEs groups and be the liaison between the Central Services team and Riot's regional publishing organization, ensuring consistency with Riot's global strategy.
• Work with the Brand Leads to set top-level objectives and key results for marketing efforts. Define measurement plans and enhance the team's collective knowledge of our future audience and landscape.
• Collaborate with the Insights and Growth team to strengthen cross-functional strategies through data-driven insights. Implement effective change and growth motivated best practices & sustainable strategies across channels and platforms to scale reach cost effectively.
• Enhance collaboration between regions so we deliver better experiences to our players through sharing of ideas, projects and best practices, by reusing what is already working or joining forces to deploy better campaigns.
• Develop and guide Riot's offline presence strategy for EMEA, ensuring that we're going where players are, in an authentic manner.

Required Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience leading successful teams in communication and digital media at an agency or in-house in the video game, technology, or entertainment industry.
• Global or regional experience working at an international HQ or across different countries/markets.
• Experience in communication, influencer management and community management.
• Experience building/managing teams.
• Experience with regional/cultural landscape differences and similarities.

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience implementing successful communications campaigns with passionate audiences;
• You are up to date with the gaming and entertainment industry's newest trends and technologies.
