Job Description
Riot's People team exists to help Rioters make better decisions around its talent. We bring our expertise to all of those typical HR activities such as hiring, onboarding, development, diversity and inclusion, performance management, benefits, perks, compensation, big events, labor relations, off-boarding so that all Rioters can flourish.

As a Senior Benefits Analyst, reporting into the Senior Manager, Benefits, you will play a meaningful role in the retirement programs that our Rioters love. You'll configure and update our benefit systems to achieve harmony, and educate our sizable company by creating internal marketing and training. Individual Rioters will depend on your direct care for a wide variety of benefit needs, and you'll review, audit, and transmit their sensitive data with focus.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the administration of Riot's retirement and financial wellness programs in the US
• Ensure compliance of Riot's 401(k) plan; including preparing and completing information for annual plan audit, help prepare Form 5500, and non-discrimination testing
• Maintain accuracy of 401(k) Plan Document, amendments, Summary Plan Description and vendor service agreements
• Manage vendor relationship with outside recordkeeper, retirement plan auditors and investment advisors to ensure compliance, proper service delivery
• Build and maintain a strong working relationship with vendors; track service level agreements, performance and Rioter satisfaction
• Arrange quarterly committee meetings, ensure applicable items are carried out, follow up on open items bringing them to closure
• Manage year-round calendar of retirement events, including compliance notifications, events and documents
• Monitor ongoing carrier feeds, manage discrepancy reports, resolve any inconsistencies, research root causes and make recommendations on corrective actions
• Develop and manage regular audits of 401(k) elections and related payroll deductions
• Collaborate with various outside vendors and internal teams such as, People Operations, HRIS and payroll to ensure system accuracy and compliance
• Analyzes and interprets information; provide opinions and recommendations, and refer complex issues as appropriate
• Act as an escalation point for Rioter benefit questions or concerns
• Develop educational materials & training for Riot's growing organization
• Collaborate in the collective management of the benefits email inbox. Identifies trends that indicate training needs or communication opportunities

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of relevant benefits experience
• Strong knowledge of DOL, IRS, and ERISA regulations as it relates to retirement plan governance
• Advanced level experience with Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) including formulas, pivot tables, charts and graphs
• Customer service-oriented and comfortable delivering service to a variety of customers, from senior managers to entry-level talent

Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Insurance & Risk Management, or a comparable field
• Familiarity with Workday HCM
