This new role within the Asia-Pac (''APAC'') region will report into the Senior Manager of Accounting and will be a part of the Accounting team within the APAC Enterprise organization. Enterprise teams at Riot are responsible for creating the culture, systems, and environment that enable Riot to be the best place for world-class talent to imagine and deliver the impossible for players. Enterprise collectively is made up of key corporate teams like Finance, People, Legal, Corporate Affairs, IT and Infosec, D&I and Corp. Strategy that creates the ecosystem for Riot's different product business units to operate and collaborate. In order to be effective, Enterprise Rioters must foster a trust forward culture to empower product business units, act as true partners to product teams and create simple and customer centric systems that unlock collaboration across Riot.

As Senior Accountant - Revenue, you will focus on accounting for emerging game revenue streams including mobile and B2B and helping the team update its processes to work with a revenue system. This is a hands-on role requiring day-to-day operational acumen. It also needs you to bring flexibility and a thoughtful approach to new issues. You'll collaborate within the team on process and with other teams including Game teams, Payments, Legal, Data, and accounting teams in our global offices.

Responsibilities:
• Run the full-cycle accounting for APAC game revenue streams, including the day-to-day work and finding ways to implement or improve processes
• Reconciliation of significant accounts and transaction activity, including the sales to cash reconciliation process (reconciliation of point of sales activity to third-party payment providers).
• Collaborate with other teams internationally to stay on top of upcoming revenue initiatives; identify accounting risks and work with team to address them
• Investigate fluctuations and monitor trends in the accounts. Work with other teams to gain a deep understanding of the story behind the movements
• Handle multiple projects and ad hoc requests. Communicate status and deadlines effectively.
• Prepare accurate, timely financial reports for our established month-end reporting schedule
• Problem-solve technical accounting issues related to new/complex transactions by identifying and addressing accounting issues, investigating the facts, and researching the proper accounting treatment
• Work closely with manager and other teams on new revenue contracts

Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of 4 years of progresive experience in a Big 4 Assurance or Advisory role and/or relevant corporate accounting experience (revenue and entertainment experience preferred)
• Experience working in a high-growth, fast paced environment within technology, media and entertainment
• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong working knowledge or technical proficiency in US GAAP
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, minimum includes vlookups, pivot tables, and sumifs.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA, CA SIngapore or ACCA certification required

Desired Qualifications:
• Solid experience with one or more financial ERP systems, preferably Oracle
• Mobile, console, and other game platform experience
• Experience with high volume revenue transactions such as credit card sales and related systems preferred
