Job Description
This position will be part of a motivated team that provides coordinated 1st Party submissions against the company's defined compliance tasks on console and mobile platforms across Riot. As a Release Manager in 1st Party Release Operations, you will help make sure all of Riot's games release predictability and consistently across all platform partners . This person will work with multiple cross functional teams to ensure that all content is delivered to our players properly, f rom product creation and configuration, scheduling release times for titles, to verifying marketing assets intended for the first party stores. You will help Games Teams understand how 1st Party requirements apply to them and be responsible for providing clear communication around release plans, including proper coordination of planning, testing, tracking, communication, scoping, and risk management.
Organization, multitasking, and focus are required skills for this position.

Responsibilities:
• Product submissions to 1st party, which can include creation and tracking of submission checklists, tracking assets required for submissions, 1st party communication (waiver requests, schedule changes, slot booking), etc.
• Work with Marketing to obtain all required materials for timely publication on the digital store, as well as setup sale or limited time offer dates for products.
• Execute build and metadata submissions for certification on all major mobile and console platforms (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Epic, Apple, Google, etc.)
• Create and configure First Party & Platform Partner offers – full game, DLC, IAP, VC, Subscriptions, and communicate First Party IDs to relevant internal parties.
• Track asset delivery deadlines and risk reporting to relevant stakeholders to flag risks and resolve issues that may impact release scope, schedule and quality.
• Document requirements and best practices to engage our customers in the submission process and understanding of platform requirements towards consistent release on console and mobile platforms.
• Keep up to date with latest platform policy features and stakeholders informed on all first party policy and process changes, with impacts to submission.
• Provide technical guidance and platform support to Games Teams about submissions, product setup, and/or 1st Party compliance.
• Maintain meticulous documentation, including detailed walkthroughs, technical requirements documentation, risk reporting to relevant stakeholders, and more.
• Surface risks to schedule, scope, and release. Assist the team with mitigation/escalation so 1st party submissions are as efficient as possible and result in high quality releases with minimal negative impact to players.
• Identify opportunities to make improvements in the release process.
• Formulate productive working relationships with team members, colleagues and external partners.

Required Qualifications:
• 1+ years of submissions, QA, or production experience in the gaming industry
• Actively communicates a positive, outgoing approach to submissions. Capable of dissecting and resolving issues for our customers
• Able to maintain composure under tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks to drive projects to completion with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey appropriate levels of detail for each target audience
• Self-motivated to continuously learn new processes and systems
• Knowledge of first party submission tools and platforms

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with 1st party developer portal sites, SDKs and tools • Experience with TRC, TCR and NSG (Lotcheck) guidelines
• Experience in game development and publishing
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and project management software such as JIRA, Trello, Airtable, etc
• Strong knowledge of submission process, certification requirements, store portals for one or more partner platforms (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Apple, Google,
other Android platforms)
