Job Description
Riot Games will be working on its development in Shanghai, China, it is an early-stage project in development. You will work with the Executive Producer to create a game from zero to one, and together you will start a new chapter of Riot Games in China.
You will report directly to the Executive Producer, you will manage the progress of the project, you will be a problem solver and a content deliverer. You will also be responsible for project presentation and some translation during communication with HQ.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for establishing, tracking, communicating, and holding everyone accountable for project milestones
• Document key meetings/create artifacts to build continuous improvement through review and new knowledge gained
• Identify and remove impediments and provide the team with all the tools needed to succeed
• Responsible for work related to project presentations, presenting in an easy to understand the manner
• Skilled in meeting translation to help Shanghai game developers communicate smoothly with headquarters
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of PM experience in the game industry
• Real-time translator in Chinese and English with knowledge of American culture
• Proficient in project presentation (e.g., easy-to-understand PPT creation)
• Make diverse work plans and estimates
• Passion for games and in-depth experience with many online games
• Have a strong sense of empathy
• Highly reactive, persistent, and patient
Desired Qualifications:
• Deep understanding of games from both player and designer perspectives
• Overseas study experience (both undergraduate and master's degree is a plus)
• A spirit of excellence and perfection
• Have participated in the development of successful game projects from 0 to 1
