Job Description

As a Manager, Strategic Advisory, you will report to and be the right hand of Central Tech's Strategic Advisory (SA) Lead. The main goals of SA in Central Tech are to enhance the decision-making of leaders throughout the organization, guide and build strategic and financial plans, drive process and system improvements, and monitor performance.

As the SA Lead's right hand, you will oversee one or more key SA initiatives, while also helping the SA Lead build the team and manage team members. Strategic Advisory at Riot encompasses several skillsets, but in this role the ones that will serve you best are structured stakeholder management, project management and finance. You will apply these skills in a technology-focused setting, so be prepared to dive deep into the inner workings of the technology used at Riot.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the charge in a project management capacity to deliver one or more of Central Tech's OKRs, such as helping the organization instrument uptime metrics and improve them to the required level, or find ways to spend player money more effectively
• Maintain an active relationship with key leaders within Central Tech, listening to their needs and figuring out new ways that SA can help them
• Aid decision-makers by providing an objective viewpoint, frameworks, and access to SA resources
• Assist in the preparation of key deliverables to investors, such as quarterly Portfolio reviews and/or annual Strategic Planning and Forecasting (SPF) decks

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years (or 5+ years with an MBA) of professional experience in Finance, Consulting, Strategic Planning or other related experience with exposure to stakeholder management and project management
• 4+ years of experience applying strategic frameworks to business problems
• Experience supporting/working with Director+ level stakeholders

Desired Qualifications:
• 2+ years experience directly or indirectly managing others
• Understanding of technological solutions and concepts such as cloud, servers, connectivity and data pipelines and how they impact player experience
• A working understanding of Finance and FP&A
