Job Description

As a Learning and Development Program Manager on Creative Operations, you will craft a L+D initiative strategy and build the corresponding suite of programs, including solutions for leadership development and craft education. You will oversee the maintenance, quality control, and evolution of these programs over time, as department needs shift.

Creative Operations is a multidisciplinary team that builds and maintains programs, platforms, and services to support Riot's Creative Department globally. Our mission is centered around building connections across the Creative Department, unifying our Creatives under a shared culture and identity, ensuring consistency in craft standards studio wide, and preparing the department for the future. Our team's focus at the moment is scaling our offerings and services to ensure we are meeting the needs of all our Creatives globally.

Responsibilities:
• The Program Manager will craft a Learning and Development strategy for the Creative Department that addresses leadership development and craft development needs for the next 3-5 years
• Gap Analysis for Creative Department leadership: Determine where the major gaps are in leadership across the Creative Department, and build a strategy for leadership development based on these objectives
• Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) for Creative Job Family Groups: Run a LNA to identify Creative wants/needs for craft education across Art, Audio, Narrative, Creative Direction, and Video
• Leadership Development Program Creation: Work with internal and, as needed, external partners to craft a leadership development program based on your strategy and objectives
• Craft Education Program Development: Based on results of the LNA and production needs across the studio, propose recommended resources and opportunities, including approximate timelines over the next 1-3 years
• Manage L+D Program: Maintain and improve learning programs to meet evolving needs. Ensure there is a system in place to source learning resources and opportunities over time (may include courses, resources + artifacts, field trips, special events, external speakers, and internal speakers). Own logistics for self-serve learning resources (scheduling, coordination, troubleshooting), and partner with other Ops team members on educational events and ensuring high awareness of learning resources

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience developing strategy and building programs from the ground up
• Ability to foster strong relationships through collaboration
• Proven ability to problem solve, and understand how to navigate high-stress situations calmly
• Be service oriented and feeling comfortable fielding questions from a wide audience
• Experience using G-Suite tools and Slack

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience working in Creative education and/or leadership development
• Experience working with international teams or points of contact
