The Central Product team at Riot is focused on delivering portfolio level product insights, both to help our game teams optimize their products with consideration for the greater Riot ecosystem, and to aid our business leaders in making data informed strategic decisions. You'll find success through craft expertise, soft power skills, and execution that prioritizes the delight of players. As an Insights Analyst for Central Product, you will leverage data and competitive intelligence to inform how games achieve their strategic goals. You will directly support the Central Product team in breaking down the health of each game and identifying, investigating, and advising on problem and opportunity spaces that Riot should focus on. You will assist in developing dashboards, bespoke analyses and data sources to answer some of the hardest game making questions for use across our entire portfolio. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Central Product.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with product teams to produce frameworks and insights that craft how gameplay experiences are optimized
• Identify the most significant gameplay questions and partner with game team insights leads to answer those questions
• Structure analyses and visualizations to succinctly communicate your findings
• Use your storytelling skills to share your results with other Rioters
• Invest in building competence in traditional market analysis techniques to support our business strategists & global publishing team

Desired Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Statistics or a related discipline
• Completed relevant graduate degree with a minimum two summer internships, OR minimum one year professional work experience analyzing large datasets, visualizing information, and informing company strategy
• Expertise with SQL or other relational database approaches
• Deep knowledge of gameplay and metagame systems of a least one Riot published game, OR experience working on gameplay telemetry and analytics within a competitive genre
• Proficient in Spark, Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau
