As Director, Strategic Planning & BizOps - Publishing, you'll report to Publishing's Head of Strategy. You'll orchestrate Publishing's year-round strategic planning and forecasting processes across all its departments, partnering with Finance. You will guide Publishing's ''Rhythm of the Business'' and develop the ongoing narratives to inform leadership's decision-making. You'll partner with multiple teams across Riot and be a leader driving Publishing's strategy and operations.

Responsibilities:

Strategic planning
• Design and orchestrate Publishing's internal strategic planning and forecasting processes, ensuring agreement on Riot's broader Corporate and Finance-driven planning requirements
• Collaborate with the broader Publishing leadership team to define and communicate Publishing's vision, goals, and priorities
• Collaborate with other strategic planning-focused teams (Strategy, Operations, Finance, People, Comms, etc.) to ensure Publishing and its departments develop strategic plans, OKRs, and resourcing allocations

Business operations
• Design and manage Publishing's ''Rhythm of the Business,'' establishing the operational meetings and activities that serve as the cadence of Publishing
• Develop regular business operations reports to inform leadership's decision-making, collecting and analyze quantitative and qualitative inputs from across Publishing
• Collaborate with other business operations-focused teams (Strategy, Operations, Finance, People, Comms, etc.) on broader initiatives (e.g., org health surveys and action plans)

Team Oversight
• Build and manage a small team of strategic planning and business operations professionals
• Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert for strategic planning and business operations professionals throughout Publishing

Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years experience in strategic advisory, strategic planning, business operations, FP&A, or similar roles
• 4+ years of management experience
• Experience leading strategic planning and business operations initiatives for highly complex organizations
• Experience managing strategic and operational inputs from diverse teams and developing an integrated narrative to drive decision-making
• Experience developing both high-level and operational strategy
• Experience directly advising C-level executives (SVP+)
• Record of attracting and developing talent
• Record of capabilities across both team management and individual production

Desired Qualifications
• Experience working closely with global teams across diverse cultures
• Experience as a leader in the video game, media/entertainment, or similar industry
• Experience managing other people managers
