Business Development Assistant, Europe & Mena

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Assistant (or Business Development and Partnerships Manager as it's known internally) to help shape new opportunities and support our monetization efforts for Riot's esports business across Europe, CIS, Turkey and MENA.

You will be a part of the Berlin-based Business Development team and you will report directly to the Business Development Manager. You will work closely with the Business Development Europe & MENA Esports team and work with a broad range of Riot functions across the region. You will be part of the business development team focusing mainly on VALORANT.

Responsibilities:
• Become an important support function for the BD team through several verticals
• Create compelling presentations to present new opportunities to esports partners
• You will work on player-facing experiences and brand activations at the esports events at the studio and roadshows
• Keep track of activation spending and support in admin tasks
• Coordinate with internal Riot teams to ensure delivery of sponsorship contract requirements
• Develop project management skills
• Maintain a good understanding and current awareness of the esports, sports and entertainment industry

Required Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in Business Development, preferably in sports or esports organisations
• Good knowledge of the Riot Games Europe & MENA esports scene
• Expertise in Google Workplace and/or Microsoft office suite (PowerPoint, Excel etc.) Photoshop is a plus
• Business or sports management education is a plus
