Role Description:

We're picturing someone who is experienced in game development, passionate and eager about quality, and protecting the player experience. You will work embedded within the team. You will have a 'Quality' mindset from a consumer perspective, and you will be an advocate in assessment meetings.

You will be engaged in both integration and live environments for testing, using data and manual testing efforts to identify issues affecting our community members. You will review and find reproduction steps for issues reported by the community, test fixes in our integration environment, and verify new deployments post-launch. You will report to team leaders and managers.

Primary responsibilities expected are as follows:
• Coordinate multiple work streams in task execution and task management.
• Develop working relationships with members of the development, production, and design teams.
• Identify and process bugs.
• Understand past and similar iterations of services, use data, report on findings, and provide meaningful insights.
• Report progress and status through regular email or face-to-face communication with appropriate managers and other partners.
• Report potential risks of features and systems.
• Perform a variety of testing types across multiple environments.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of professional working experience in a production or quality-driven role
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and how it applies to QA
• Excellent verbal and written correspondence
• A passion to learn.
• Experience with bug tracking and test scripting software, such as Jira and TestRail

Hours are from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm CT.
