Our program managers, release managers, project managers and scrum masters bring passion to iterative delivery and process while keeping our eyes on the goal and motivating one another to do the same!

Role Details:

We are looking for a quality leader who takes initiative, has pride in their work, enjoys digital product development in a supportive team environment and wants to have fun. We are actively seeking an experienced Vice President of Program Management to manage process, projects and most importantly products from inception to launch, including resource allocation, scheduling, team management, mentorship and risk management. In this role, you will help design and implement a strategy for teams to continuously improve their use of Agile and Scaled Agile principles and practices – Help teams inspect, adapt, deliver and mature. You will leverage your agile/lean mindset and coaching expertise to facilitate the process and partner with internal stakeholders within the Technology and Products organization. Our ideal candidate will play a vital part in leading our complex projects and programs across 63 scrum teams for Pluto TV, also mature a PMO leading 50 project managers/scrum masters and program managers and raise the bar as a Scaled Agile Coach for our teams contributing to our broader Lean-Agile Center of Excellence across the business unit, providing thought leadership and contributing to the coalition of Agile change agents. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented go-getter who doesn't shy away from constantly changing challenges, and collaborates with internal teams to design, develop, and implement multi-faceted projects on time, highlight potential risks or blockers, act proactively to resolve issues, and ensure quality standards and deadlines are met across the various touchpoints of these large projects, that touch media, entertainment and technology.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers/scrum masters and program managers tasked with program and project execution in support of the business
• Responsible for the ongoing oversight and outcome of large-scale projects and its processes, managing the complete development life cycle for multiple projects, including resource allocation and scheduling, as well as quality, stakeholder, and risk management
• Identify project resource requirements and assign individual responsibilities
• Spot and creatively solve complex, cross-functional operational issues, often unique to each project
• Minimize exposure on projects by clearly communicating potential risks at every stage
• Build alignment among key project stakeholders and escalate key decisions as required
• Chair meetings and lead briefings on process improvement, project tracking, management and stakeholder steering committees and change management.
• Define and adjust processes to meet project/business needs and look for ways to improve processes while coaching teams to do the same
• Problem-solving project issues: assisting teams in resolution and successfully leading large teams to develop risk mitigation plans
• Working with team leads/stakeholders to understand business needs and helping identify and solving staffing-mix issues to meet business goals
• Conduct regular quality control and reporting on the status of cross-functional projects across various touchpoints
• Ensure internal stakeholders are kept apprised of project status
• Develop and articulate compelling decks and lead trainings
• Enforce team compliance to high company standards and professionalism
• Bring a passion for innovation, drive efficiency, and partner with others to develop requirements and project manage those solutions through to successful implementations.

Key Projects:
• Manage the design and development of multiple large-scale websites and/or publicly-released apps from inception through launch
• Report process effectiveness to stakeholders
• Lead and develop team of 50 project and program managers
• Help design and support process transformation rollouts.
• Coach teams and management towards improving Agile and Scaled Agile process and metrics, evaluate and mentor existing Scrum teams and Program Managers, and deliver training classes for product owners, developers, and testers.
• Partner effectively with multiple operations, engineering, product, QA, design, data, program management & PMO, legal and business development teams to ensure we stay invested towards improved efficiencies across managing projects in support of global growth plans for our product feature development for Pluto TV
• This role will require the understanding of what role each team and their systems play across functions supporting Pluto TV development value streams
• Develop and improve sustainable documentation and templates for how we manage programs, and develop following agile methodology, including a program management playbook, release playbook, and agile playbook for the business unit.

Qualifications:

You have –
• Strong experience in Scaled Agile and/or Scrum at Scale concepts and/or have led a scaled agile transformation with 4+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer or similar senior agile delivery / program management role in a scaled agile environment of 10 or more teams.
• 5+ years of highly effective program management or scrum-of-scrum experience leading matrix teams towards deliverables and achievements, tracking complex direct-to-consumer projects from start to finish.
• Masterful proficiency with tooling for reporting Atlassian - Jira, Jira Portfolio (Advanced Roadmaps add-on) and Confluence (Jira Align a plus!) Also Strong data-driven talents in Jira being able to create dashboards, filters, and modifications to Jira Projects, schemas and boards and readouts.
• Can whip up a Gantt Chart or PowerPoint (Google slides) presentation to share status and progress to stakeholders at any level.
• Strong interpersonal communication and coaching skills, and excellent listening skills, especially in a virtual zoom-led culture. You know how to grab the attention of any 'room'.
• Strong influencing skills and experience working with senior decision makers; effectively able to communicate to a global audience and to manage upward
• Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment where ambiguity and short turnaround schedules are the norm, and flexible and able to react professionally and efficiently to changes in schedules or project direction without sacrificing quality
• Exhibits a high degree of ownership and accountability with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects, priorities and people concurrently
