Overview:
As a Technical Project Manager at PlayStation, you will drive the overall direction and management for several projects.
What'll you'll do:
• Define project objectives, create project plans, monitor and control projects, and report progress.
• Work with key stakeholders on gathering requirements, identifying risks, and lead schedules.
• Provide detailed and timely communication on project status, developing issues, and risks to relevant partners
• Drive improving project management and software development practices.
• Use your organization and facilitation skills to support other FTG activities such as Hackathons, lunchtime presentations, portfolio reviews, etc.
Responsibilities
• Provide project management, multi- functional coordination, and communications to deliver program outcomes.
• Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering efficiency, as well as meeting project goals and objectives.
• Problem solving within fast-paced and constantly evolving environments, with the ability to bring order to ambiguous scenarios.
• Experience developing and launching products that require collaboration between internal cross-functional tech teams and external partner teams.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a related technical field.
• Strong working experience with Project Management tools (i.e. Atlassian suite), Agile and Scrum methodologies in leading technical projects.
• Proven track record managing projects with large budgets, complex strategies, and driving quantifiable results for established brands with a high volume of campaigns
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
• Proficiency in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work constructively as part of a larger team.
• Proactively work on your own.
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
• Gaming and start-up experience
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM certifications
• Knowledge of Japanese culture/language
