Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer (Java) in Los Angeles, CA to build and improve Java code and develop software for company network. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience designing and implementing full stack applications, interactive RESTful services, components and integrating software with third party systems using React.js, Spring framework, Hibernate and MySQL. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience developing large-scale systems that support digital content businesses by performing architecture development, coding, unit testing, bug fixing, deployment to production, and maintenance knowledge transfers; writing Java code for internal application development; writing and executing unit tests using the JUnit framework to apply and help refine coding standards; developing and documenting unit tests, integration tests and automated web tests on front-end and backend systems; creating low-level design documents and owning the implementation and delivery of mid-size to large features; communicating estimates, schedules, issues and dependencies to technical and project leads; fixing bugs and providing support for business and maintenance teams; refactoring existing code base and improving the overall quality of the code.
