Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in Los Angeles, CA to develop the front end of Sony's content pipeline which drives the PlayStation network. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience utilizing an Agile approach to software development and using modern software development paradigms including agile development methodology, data-driven and continuous delivery. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience completing software development tasks including Java/JavaScript programming, code reviews, debugging, bug fixes, and performance analysis; ensuring code quality and code coverage via unit test cases; leading metrics tracking, short feedback loops, early test development, and automation adoption of tools and techniques for solving complex problems; designing and developing JavaScript-based applications; proposing strategic technical goals in support of system maintenance and enhancements; creating new components on React JS integration with JAVA; working on AWS pipeline to help smooth the flow of data daily; working on configuring data pipelines and delivering data to the end customer; and writing integration tests and Jenkins jobs for continuous integration and continuous deployment. At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$124,987 - $169,800 USD
