On our team, you will play a key role in coordinating and performing all aspects of deployments. You'll have a chance learn from the best and plenty of opportunity to grow and provide feedback to our architecture, automation, operations, or anything else that interests you.

Core Responsibilities (40-60%):
• Operations of a large global network (Incidents, Changes, Maintenance)
• Use tooling to analyze network data (sflow, ipfix, telemetry, etc) to identify problems and improve network performance.
• Keep our network running
• Contribute to our OnCall rotation. Normal Business Hours + Weekends (8hrs per day)

Specialized Responsibilities (Deployments, 40-60%):
• Partner with onsite staff or contractors and own (remotely) all aspects of network hardware, technology, and service deployments into the production network from planning to execution to retrospective.
• Capable of mentoring Mid and Junior network engineers in all aspects of network design, operations and deployment.
• Leverage your excellent communication and collaboration skills to clear the way for better, and more efficient results.
• Guide internal or external partners on large global deployments from start to finish; own documentations and develop trainings.

Required Experience:
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals.
• Experience with backbone and edge routing policy, engineering, and operation in a multi-transit, multi-peer environment.
• Advanced comprehension of and experience with at least 4 of the following:
• IS-IS, OSPF
• MPLS-TE (RSVP or LDP)
• iBGP / eBGP
• EVPN, VXLAN
• sFlow, IPFIX, Telemetry
• Juniper Networks Switching / Routing / Security platforms
• Arista Switching / Routing platforms
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with coordinating 3rd party vendors and providers

Desirable Experience:
• Experience with ISIS, MPLS, IPv6, and L2/L3 VPN services.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Experience with MP-BGP routing policy in a global network environment.
• Experience with cluster networking/CLOS fabrics
• Experience with router firewall policies.
• Experience working in load balancer topologies.
• Experience with optical media and optical transport systems.
• Experience using a distributed version control system (git).
• Experience building automation tools for large infrastructures.
• Experience working in a globally distributed team and/or with IT Service Management (e.g., ITIL).
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Ruby or other languages such as Java, JavaScript, Go, etc.
