Dept Overview:

The Consumer Engagement team is part of the broader Global Media and Omnichannel Marketing division within PlayStation and is responsible for implementing multi-channel digital programs and campaigns and developing a relevant dialogue with tens of millions of customers across the globe.

Within PlayStation, the Consumer Engagement team champions serving players, boosting gameplay and driving revenue by crafting inspiring digital experiences at scale and speed; creating relevant, accurate and entertaining content; and cultivating one-to-one relationships through seamless, personalised journeys that connect web, email, app, search, and on-console.

Role Overview:

The role itself is focused on developing inspiring digital experiences that attract players to the PlayStation ecosystem; championing a customer journey is logical, coherent and flawless; and making information discoverable and useful, while adopting changes in search behaviour to entice new audiences.
Our ambition is to lead players seamlessly through the funnel by consistently meeting their needs. This role partners closely with diverse internal team members across the organisation, to optimise for improved business outcomes by maintaining a constant cycle of test and learn.

Strengths you'll need will include omnichannel personalisation, content strategy, user journey optimisation, first party data activation, conversion rate optimisation, comprehensive SEO content strategy and local/regional territory alignment.

This role leads a strategic team of owned channel marketing subject matter experts who partner in a consultative manner across the business, to deliver outstanding digital experiences that meet our customer needs. The Senior Manager, Digital Experience & Strategy will partner with other teams within the Consumer Engagement function (including Content, Operations and CRM) as well as the Optimisation & Analytics and Product Management teams.

What you'll be doing:
• Accountable for delivering increased engagement, revenue and customer value by working alongside key internal partners to collectively identify and agree strategy
• Work closely with cross-functional marketing teams, creative, CRM, user experience and analytics teams to build and optimise omni-channel personalisation strategies and campaigns that engage players all products and stages within the customer lifecycle
• In close collaboration with key internal partners, support the development and operationalise the delivery of an optimisation and experimentation CRO programme to drive direct revenue impact and increased engagement scores
• Act as a leader, role-model and mentor for our internal SEO team. Support the Head of SEO with key priorities focused on driving the profile of SEO internally, educating internal partners and building a best-in-class centre of expertise.
• Supervise and analyse key drivers in customer behaviour with the application of customer feedback
• Local market support: establish strong collaboration with markets, consider and understand local needs, evaluate local plans, identify local optimisation potentials
• Develop CX journey maps and overlay with analytics data to understand difficulties - with particular focus on digital UX
• Define and optimise key user journeys both within PlayStation.com, across owned media channels and across the broader PlayStation digital ecosystem
• Lead initiatives to maximise the use and collection of first party data
• Ensure that the right critical metrics, measurement and analytics are in place to effectively measure success, return on investment and marketing performance

• Strong verbal and written communicator with the ability to influence and persuade upwards and outwards - comfortable developing strong presentations and briefing diverse audiences i.e., Creatives, Analysts, Engineers, Legal and Senior Management.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a consistent track0record in data-based decision making, and comfortable analysing large data sets and analysis framework.
• A change-maker who is constantly exploring new ways of doing things and comfortable challenging the status quo.
• Excellent communication skills with expertise and integrity that will earn respect and trust with internal team members and external vendors.
• A solution orientated mentality with the ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity.
• Highly organised - able to handle a full workload and progress multiple ambitious projects simultaneously thanks to your skill and work ethic.

Education/experience:
• Educated to degree level in a related field such as Business, Marketing or Mathematics and a strong academic record.
• Proven senior experience in an influential role in B2C marketing, strategic marketing, customer lifecycle management, engagement marketing or growth marketing.
• Experienced in establishing relationships and operating compassionately across cultures. This includes collaborating openly and bringing together different perspectives to drive well-informed decisions.
• Experience with data analytics (ideally Adobe Analytics) and digital experience analytics tools (e.g., Decibel)
• Plenty of digital marketing experience, with validated track-record on SEO, content and tech.
• Numerate and fluent in defining, aggregating and analysing core key performance indicators & campaign performance metrics
• A track record of implementing and leading SEO strategies across different verticals
• Experience with SEO and editorial strategy, developing playbooks and rolling out strategy globally
• Experience understanding and designing user journeys (preferred)
• Experience running personalisation programs (preferred)
• Educated to degree level in a related field such as Business, Marketing or Mathematics
