Global Sales and Business Operations has recently re-organised, and we're adding more focus and resource to customer engagement and integrated sales performance. This team will represent a Centre of Excellence within the division, promoting best practice, whilst delivering best-in-class reporting, and unlocking value adding insights.

What you'll be doing:
• Diving into our wealth of data to identify engagement & sales insights and trends across geographies, cohorts, segments and products
• Using innovative data analysis methodologies to transform the way we assess performance
• Create tools that help the business make more thoughtful and effective decisions
• Producing data-driven, insightful, storytelling presentations to senior partners.
• Use independent predictive models to rationalise sales team forecasts
• Work with analysts across the business to enhance the teams' capabilities, share best practices and build a strong analyst community
• Support the GSBO senior leadership team through consolidation, coordination and commissioning insights across the department, creating a single, consistent view of performance
• Ongoing analysis of all things PlayStation with access to a huge array of data and tools so expect to be data mining, using BI tools and using data extraction code, doing some statistical, cohort & cluster analysis and more.

What we're looking for:
• 8+ years' experience working in a technical analyst role
• High level of analytic capability and exceptional problem-solving skills
• Commercially minded people who are willing to question the status quo
• Excellent Business Intelligence and Excel skills
• Proficient at coding for data analysis (e.g. SQL, R, Python)
• Experience with visualisation tools (e.g. MicroStrategy, Looker, Tableau, Qlik, etc)
• Clear, concise, and commercially data driven storytelling through visualisations
• Ability to self-manage
• Passion for the gaming industry
• Bonus points: Machine Learning, cluster/cohort/segmentation analysis and LTV modelling, automation / programming

• Intellectual bandwidth to handle multiple collaborators across geographies and functional specialisms.
• An ability to lead tasks and projects with a keen eye for detail
• Relationship builder, who can communicate at different levels of the organisation
• Effective communication skills – being an influencing and occasionally persuasive person
• A natural aptitude for learning and understanding multiple systems and tools
• Able to identify and develop opportunities to improve, innovate and/or pioneer new ways of working through continuous process improvement practices
