Associate Release Manager

San Diego | San Mateo, CA

The Associate Release Manager works under normal supervision to ensure the successful release of PlayStation Studio (1st party) titles. This individual will handle aspects of the day-to-day development of certain team projects while scheduling and coordinating with internal resources to best support game title entry, certification testing and release. This person will also facilitate active partnerships with senior producers, creative leads, and key partners across the global organization. Come join us, where Play Has No Limits!

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the creation of greenlit PlayStation Studio titles in Sony's publishing tools (Content Pipeline, Devnet)
• Lead the entry of PlayStation Studio titles into Global Format QA for certification testing and release
• Facilitate the entry of off Platform titles into WWS QA for testing; the Release Manager is the initial contact guiding mobile & PC titles into test
• Manage and guide developers on store set-up and build delivery for (iOS, Google Play, STEAM, Epic Games Store)
• Run the release effort for assigned titles to final platform QA (iOS, Google Play, STEAM, Epic games Store)
• Manage the title release processes

Qualifications:
• At least 3 years' of equivalent work-related experience required
• Intermediate knowledge of Mobile & or PC publishing technology & release requirements
• Excellent inter-personal skills; adapt working style to the personality's and work styles of our partners
• Outstanding business and technical writing skills is an absolute must, requiring a strong understanding of the English language and accurate grammar
• Quickly grasp highly technical concepts as explained by developers, support teams, and QA; extract core message for summary and explanation to others
• Operate in a highly fluid environment and react swiftly to ensure that no adverse effects result to the frequent changes
