Product Owner- San Mateo

As part of our global Third Party partner strategy, we are launching a Salesforce CRM platform to centralize critical information about our partners. This will enable us to develop and optimize our business capabilities, processes and partner experience to meet constantly evolving business and market expectations and enable continued growth at scale.

The CRM Product Owner is a highly visible and strategic role, responsible for delivering a best-in-class partner CRM product and strategy built on the Salesforce platform and associated technologies. Within this role you will:
• Own the long-term vision, roadmap and strategy for its development
• Work with business teams to gather feature requests and deliver initial product release
• Understand the business value of each request and work with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to deliver against the full vision and roadmap
• Be the primary evangelist for the system, helping teams understand the benefits of the CRM and helping drive usage and compliance

This role is primarily remote, but the candidate must be located near our San Mateo office as you will be required to be in the office for ''moments that matter.'' As the role is global, a flexible approach to working hours to support global business operations is required.

Responsibilities:
• Define, prioritize, drive realization of specific product vision, roadmap and long-term strategy
• Champion the voice of the business and continuously evangelize the roadmap so all collaborators are aligned, have context and understand forward direction
• Engage with global business partners to understand business requirements, new features, capabilities and decompose them into user stories with acceptance criteria
• Clearly convey requirements to engineering teams to ensure they are well-understood and provide insight into business rationale
• Resolve conflicts and broker agreement between partners with conflicting requirements or goals
• Build, maintain and complete an appropriately prioritized backlog of goals and features that best achieve core business objectives
• Ensure features are backed by validated OKRs and that success is measured on an ongoing basis
• Acquire key inputs from leadership, enterprise architecture teams to identify solution and interdependencies
• Represent and reinforce the end user's perspective throughout the product realization cycle to ensure clarity in the business value the product will bring to each group
• Ensure consistent and predictable release of software, with appropriately insightful release notes
• Solve product-related problems, make decisions, and complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
• Ensure project scope is framed and outlined in a way that improves the value of the Salesforce platform and uses Salesforce standard methodologies
• Seek to continuously iterate on User Experience of the CRM via new ideas based on multiple inputs and sources
• Drive the adoption of the CRM platform across the regions and conduct periodic service / system heath check-ins to confirm utilization and realization of business value

Qualifications:
• 6+ years of proven experience as a Product Owner with a consistent track record of delivering high profile, business focused solutions in a fast-paced environment
• An authority in Salesforce Sales Cloud & Service Cloud
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology
• Proven experience with agile software development
• Required ability to translate and articulate sophisticated business problems into easily understood solutions
• Strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
• Articulate in detailing product requirements, writing functional specs, acceptance criteria and user stories
• Global operator, with experience working with a diverse range of partners and audiences within a matrix organisation
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to context switch between low level detail and 'bigger picture'
• Excellent communication skills to help internally evangelize to technical and non-technical users
• Highly motivated, autonomous, and proactive
• Impeccable organizational skills, time management and the ability to think on your feet
• Diplomatic and comfortable with finding common ground on complex issues
• Comprehensive analytical and research skills
• Active listener

Desirable
• Salesforce certification
• Experience with Mulesoft
• Globally aware with experience of working successfully across countries and cultures
• A general understanding of the video games industry
• Experience in Sales or Marketing
