We have an exciting opportunity to join Sony Interactive Entertainment, PlayStation. We seek an experienced Product Owner within the Partner Platform which is part of Content and Customer Services Engineering. The Partner Platform applications are utilized worldwide by content producers to interact and supply their content onto the PlayStation platform, including games, movies, music and more. The ideal candidate would be an experienced Product Owner who has worked on large web development projects, in an Agile development environment. If this is you, please apply!

What you will be doing:

You will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile development environment working alongside several other regional and global teams spread across London, Liverpool and Los Angeles.

Working with business and IT stakeholders and the engineering team to help define and deliver technical product solutions, from early stage research through to development, delivery and iteration.

You will be responsible for building, prioritising and maintaining the team backlog. Refining it regularly with the engineering team. Breaking features down into smaller stories to enable the development of releasable content in each sprint. Defining and monitoring the metrics which drive the success of the product and guide feature development.

Working with our Technical Leads to ensure that innovation and technical debt features are prioritised alongside the business features. You will be guiding the stakeholder group to ensure that the engineering team are delivering the most value to the wider organisation. Articulate value in clear business terms to business stakeholders and to the technical delivery resources alike and drive the evolution of our business facing products and services.

Collaborating with Product Owners and Product Managers across the organisation to learn about and feedback on our delivery process and to drive continuous improvement.

There will be occasional travel to our offices in the UK, Europe, USA and Japan.

What we are looking for:
• You have 3+ year's professional experience as a Product Owner or similar role working in an Agile environment with a proven track record of delivering high profile, business focused solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• You have significant practical experience working with Agile methodologies particularly Scrum
• You can breakdown complex ideas into User Stories with appropriate Acceptance Criteria for the engineering team to develop against
• You will be comfortable dealing with all levels of stakeholder and willing to challenge them based on sound reasoning
• You have a proven track record in leading and inspiring a team to deliver its full potential.
• You can spot potential issues from a distance and know when to change direction or escalate the problem. You are diplomatic and comfortable with finding common ground on complex issues
• You have excellent written, verbal, social and decision-making skills, are self-motivated and highly organised
