Sony Interactive Entertainment (''PlayStation®'') is seeking a hardworking and experienced paralegal who wants to work on consumer product, IP, and regulatory issues as a member of the PlayStation legal team. This paralegal position will support our product and business teams that build and support our video game hardware and world class user experiences, including the PS5, PS4, PlayStation VR systems, related accessories, and PlayStation mobile and web apps.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate legal support for product releases, working closely with client teams across business units to understand release schedules and coordinate legal review and engagement.
• Work with product attorneys on per project/product basis to provide support on feature and product reviews, including legal risks and recommendations.
• Track legal and regulatory issues with impact to PlayStation products and business objectives; work with product attorneys and regional leads to provide awareness of pending regulations and assist in creating timely compliance plans.
• Provide expertise and support in legal documentation management including:
• Draft 'end user' legal terms and disclosures, including terms of service, software EULAs, beta agreements and in-product disclosures.
• Coordinate and manage global updates to consumer-facing legal documents, including terms of service, software EULAs and beta agreements.
• Assist with the creation and delivery of a document management system for internal legal department use.
• Draft and deliver product/project briefs, updates and summaries for use across legal teams
• Review product documentation and packaging materials, including guides, manuals, product packaging, support articles and point of sale materials, to provide product legal clearance and confirm compliance with applicable consumer product regulations, company standards and industry standards.
• Assist with the creation and delivery of new product legal programs and initiatives

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent paralegal experience
• At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with at least 2-3 years relevant experience working in-house at a technology company
• Prior experience working in or supporting a product counseling organization is strongly preferred
• Background in all or some of the following areas of law: consumer protection, product safety, product compliance, internet law, intellectual property, privacy, content regulation, e-commerce and social media.
• Strong organizational, project management and administrative skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Self-starter and ability to work independently
• Experience and expertise with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, Google Docs; familiarity with Slack and MS Teams
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with global or cross-functional teams a plus
