Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Front-End Web Developer in San Mateo, CA to develop front end of user-facing web experiences. Requires a Master's degree in Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience working closely with UX designers, project managers and back-end engineers to implement versatile front-end solutions to web development issues. Prior experience must include two (2) years of developing, maintaining, and architecting the Front end side for a new content management systems (CMSs) to optimize global marketing pages and campaigns; maintaining and expanding local development tools and packages, including Webpack, Roll Up, Yarn, and NPM, while keeping local code development efficient and optimized; writing and maintaining unit and integration tests using tools including Jest and Enzyme; accelerating JavaScript/ES6 to React/Next JS migration in the front-end codebase; identifying and fixing JavaScript and CSS defects; and collaborating with A/B testing team to implement and build new features that support the development of products.
