Your team will consist of Network Engineers that will play a key role in keeping our network running. You'll have a chance learn from the best and plenty of opportunity to grow and provide feedback to our architecture, automation, operations, or anything else that interests you.

Core Responsibilities:
• Ability to contribute to technical tasks and provide technical reviews and guidance.
• Build an amazing team with a PlayStation culture that will attract and retain top talent.
• Manage daily operations, network problems, changes, and incidents.
• Collaborate with the rest of NetEng management to ensure consistency between staff globally.
• Develop a strong relationship with each engineer to ensure their overall health, happiness, growth, and success at PlayStation. Be a coach/mentor.
• Contribute to the design and enhancement of the global backbone, automation, and data center infrastructures.
• Participate in an oncall rotation as an escalation point.

Required Experience:
• Minimum 3+ years of experience managing teams of 4+ engineers.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals (e.g. TCP/IP, Ethernet, IP Addressing/Subnetting, VLANs, etc.)
• Experience with backbone and edge routing policy, engineering, and operation in a multi-transit, multi-peer environment.
• Experience with at least 3 of the following:
• IS-IS, OSPF
• MPLS-TE (RSVP or LDP)
• iBGP / eBGP
• EVPN, VXLAN
• sFlow, IPFIX, Telemetry

Desirable Experience:
• Leading a team of engineers in a global capacity.
• Working in a follow the sun model.
• Experience with Juniper MX, QFX and EX series platforms.
• Experience with ISIS
• Experience with BGP route dissemination in a global network environment.
• Familiarity with MPLS-TE
• Familiarity with IPV6
• Experience with cluster networking/CLOS fabrics
• Experience with router firewall policies.
• Experience with optical media.
• Experience with Automation and/or System Engineering (Linux, Kubernetes)
