Korean Language Translator/Interpreter
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

As a Korean language translator/interpreter, you will assist the PlayStation Studios mobile game team with translating business documents and contracts, attending meetings to interpret conversations between vendors and business partners with the team.

What you'll be doing:
• Review Korean and English documents, contracts and other business correspondence and translate them between the two languages
• Ability to translate live conversations or video calls between Korean and English between parties
• Ability to translate messages sent via e-mail and chat applications
• Draft summaries and/or transcriptions and translations in both languages
• Participate in meetings with the team and third-party partners applying both Korean and English

What we're looking for:
• Korean and English business language fluency and high proficiency
• Knowledge of game and product development jargon in Korean and English
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Meticulous
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Korean and English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Desired qualifications:
• Business-level proficiency in written and spoken Korean and English languages
• 3-5 years of experience as an interpreter or translator
• Experience in live conversational translations
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Strong work ethic and confidentiality a must
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams
• Proven ability to work through uncertainty under various time constraints
• Bachelor's degree preferred
