Jr. Operations Specialist, Product UX and Tooling

Summary

The role of our Product UX and Tooling Operations team is to create and maintain processes and tools to deliver high quality products and cloud services at a scalable level. Working together with internal and external groups, Tooling Operations will take a leading role in all aspects of PlayStation's Future Technology Engineering group's projects with large operational components. From creating tooling requirements and developing scalable self-servicing instrumentation to tracking and resolving User Visible Errors, Product UX and Tooling Ops will ensure the needs and expectations of partners are met in order to help scale our business.

The Content Operations Specialist is responsible for onboarding, validating, deploying, and publishing game content, as well as liaising between business owners, customers, and engineers to help develop tools and applications to scale and operationalize our business. The Jr. Content Operations Specialist will work with business, product, and engineering teams to deliver polished products to the organization at a scalable, global level.

• Help manage the overall process of onboarding and deployment of game content
• Function as a point person for game onboarding to organizational stakeholders
• Interface with QA and technical teams to facilitate testing of new content being onboarded
• Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency of the onboarding process
• A healthy blend of technical knowledge and customer-focused mindset
• Outstanding communication skills, and the ability to coordinate a broad and diverse group of international customers in order to achieve common objectives
• Able to represent department as SME for specific product areas and its corresponding group of systems

• Collaborate with teams to define and develop tooling requirements, streamline workflow, improving efficiency and quality.
• Participate in design reviews, and help shape features
• Identify gaps in current processes, and create solutions to augment as necessary
• Able to address incoming issues with little supervision

• Interacts with internal and external teams, and can provide practical ideas or suggestions
