Our Global Marketing team is looking for a developer who will be working with the design and content teams, as well as business partners, to create compelling digital experiences for PlayStation products and services on PlayStation.com! To be successful they should have a solid understanding of fundamental design concepts along with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript (ES6, React, Next JS), as well as experience with responsive frameworks and interaction libraries.

The core responsibility for this role is to build a rich, engaging and consistent experience for the business across all of PlayStation.com, as well as our CRM related projects. This includes conceiving, developing and prototyping new visualizations and interactions for various marketing projects, then working with worldwide and regional teams to finalize designs, documenting solutions and participating in their implementation.

Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Develop the front end of user-facing web experiences on PlayStation.com
• Document UX specifications, standards, and implementations
• Work closely with UX designers, project managers and back-end engineers to implement versatile front-end solutions to web development issues
• Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices in order to push the limits of what a browser can do, while being able to establish and maintain security and integrity controls.
• Launch, iterate and make a difference across PlayStation.com and throughout other teams. Provide front-end coding expertise, and help make our products better for users

Required Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience

Required and Preferred
• Experience in current web technologies (object-oriented JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Preferred experience with EcmaScript 6, React, Next JS, jQuery, UI build tools (task runners like Grunt/Gulp and UI bundler like Webpack or Rollup)
• Experience with agile development principles
• Java and/or AEM experience is a plus but not required
• Experience working within a global team structure is a plus
