The Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, reporting and analysis as part of the PlayStation Global Marketing (GM) Finance & Planning Teams. Key tasks include supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual Global Marketing budget and forecasting processes, delivering financial data analysis and reporting and data aggregation for our leadership team across the organization in support of key investments, cost optimization initiatives, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual Global Marketing budget and forecasting processes.
• Provide consolidated reporting and variance analysis to ensure budgets and forecasts are optimized and accurate.
• Track and follow-up on budget reviews with internal and external stakeholders and develop reports for the Global Marketing leadership team.
• Assist in updating executive-friendly summary reports and presentations on monthly and quarterly cadence for leadership team.
• Support the annual budget planning process and develop finance materials for budget presentations.
• Act as finance business partner for select GM teams by driving accountability of budgets and forecasts in alignment with our strategic goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with select GM teams on expense management (budget and expenditure tracking, accruals/reclasses, forecasts and reporting) and quarterly financial reviews.
• Manage planning and reporting code infrastructure and hierarchy and ensure data integrity.
• Support governance policy formation and documentation.
• Conduct ad hoc strategic financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 5+ years of work experience in finance/business analytics role
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Detail-oriented with experience collecting, organizing, and disseminating data and abundant information with accuracy
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive, resourceful, and takes ownership to ensure successful outcomes
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and deliver against aggressive timelines
• Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks and work independently as well as collaboratively on a team
• Client-focused with ability to build relationships and partnerships with internal cross-functional teams
• Ability to quickly master new information systems and reporting tools and applications
• Experience in digital media, Internet, technology, or gaming industries a plus
