Role Overview
• Advise and provide legal counsel to HR Business Partners and business leaders on recruiting, hiring, terminations, discipline, employee relations, performance management, investigations, accommodations, reorganisations, consultations, and other employment-related matters.
• Manage litigation and pre-litigation matters directly with outside counsel, including attending / representing PlayStation at employment tribunals as needed.
• Engage with the Business to manage litigation and pre-litigation matters, settlement, negotiations, and the like.
• Lead all aspects of budget, spend, and billing of outside counsel.
• Partner with HRBPs and HR Generalists on day-to-day matters.
• Draft and revise employment-related agreements, documents, and policies.
• Advise on conflicts of interest, gifts & entertainment policies, and other ethics matters.
• Support the review and development of employment legal-type training, including anti-harassment trainings, manager training, and other legally-required trainings.

What we're looking for:
• LLB or Equivalent with minimum 6 years post-qualification experience in labour & employment counseling.
• In-house experience directly advising a business is preferred.
• Qualified lawyer in at least one jurisdiction in EMEA.
• Experience in employment litigation in numerous EMEA jurisdictions.
• Business proficiency (written and verbal) in English; other languages are a positive as well.
• proven business partnering/relationship building capabilities
• Good sense of humour.
• Enjoys working on challenging issues and owning those issues.

Locations:
• London/ UK preferred - Would consider Amsterdam for the right candidate
