The Direct 2 Consumer team brings together staff from around the world, with a passion for engaging PlayStation gamers with entertaining content. This area of Sony Interactive Entertainment has seen significant growth in recent years to become a key revenue contributor and continues to evolve with the industry to build new business opportunities.

We are looking for individuals who are motivated by being part of a truly global team, working together at the forefront of digital content distribution. As part of this, we have crafted the Digital Games Sales (DGS) team who are responsible for driving the value proposition of the PlayStation Store.

Reporting to the Global Digital Games Manager, the Digital Games Sales Specialist will implement DGS strategies for a portfolio of key franchise titles to deliver digital revenue targets for their account(s). They must work collaboratively, as part of a cross-functional team, to optimize the consumer proposition and deliver key franchise roadmap plans crafted to achieve the delivery of shared commercial objectives globally.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Work directly with assigned accounts to advance the DGS strategy and develop a long-range plan

Drive the achievement of revenue and digital market share targets for key franchises through the implementation of rolling product lifecycle roadmaps

Responsible for applying analytics to support delivery of revenue growth targets for their account(s)

Secure content and deals with key publishers for inclusion in PS Store promotions as well as new release and live service executions

Lead the digital monetization and pricing of the content portfolio and align with counterparts within the team to share knowledge of portfolio landscape and strategize processes to drive commercial performance

Advise Leadership on developments and opportunities within your key account(s)

Meet regularly with other internal collaborators to ensure alignment with broader platform activities/initiatives

Responsible to ensure the quality of the end-to-end delivery of digital products to consumers throughout the entire lifecycle with particular focus on flawless product launches and event activations

Support the forecasting process and internal/external business performance updates

Experience & Skills:

Minimum of either an internship or 6 months of working experience with digital retailers and/or digital entertainment proven experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, or other related field or equivalent work experience desired

Creative & upbeat great teammate who adopts change and exhibits desire to continually develop

Strong commercial mentality and able to evidence delivery of targets

Validated experience of building strong, influential, and collaborative relationships

Ability to self-manage and balance multiple projects and priorities

Commercially focused and results driven with a data-centric, analytical approach

Highly organized and comfortable working with information aggregation, management, and reporting

Confirmed ability to think strategically and analytically about sophisticated issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans

Ability to take ownership of an issue and see it through to resolution

Strong communication skills, a proactive demeanor and sense of humor

Gaming experience or passion for gaming
