Role Overview:
The Digital Game Sales (DGS) team is part of the Direct-to-Consumer organization that drives revenue and deepens engagement through the nimble use of deep commercial insights, close-knit partnerships, and a holistic view of the full PlayStation content business.
The DGS team's core responsibility is to drive digital game revenue through a data optimized execution of managing publishers' titles through the various states of a game's sales lifecycle.
As the Commercial Proposition Strategist for Digital Game Sales, you will be responsible for emerging as a subject matter expert on an assigned area of the business. You will partner closely with the Games Proposition Insights team to develop a deep understanding of the business, with the end goal of creating and driving forward strategies that integrate both industry and consumer insights.
What you'll be doing:
• Develop holistic content lifecycle commercial strategies for full game and add-on content
• Interface with internal and external partners to craft bespoke commercial strategies which are aligned with our business objectives
• Creation and ongoing development of a series of best practice principles designed to optimize revenue and profit outcomes across the entire cradle to grave lifecycle
• Work in harmony with multiple cross functional stakeholders and insight teams to hone and craft the optimal commercial proposition
• Partner with the Lifecycle Management team to create recommendations that support all phases of a product's lifecycle
• Align with the Pricing and Promotions functions to support delivery of a full lifecycle Price Optimisation strategy
• Think nimbly to create new opportunities for your area of the business
What we're looking for:
• 7+ years of experience crafting data and insights based commercial strategies
• Intimate understanding of the video game industry and digital commerce
• Desire to be part of a dynamic, commercially focused organization
• International travel and flexible work hours required to support a globally distributed team
