Role overview:

As a member of the UK Commercial team, you will be responsible for helping to drive and optimise the PlayStation consumer/player experience with our key Retail partners. An extremely broad role with strategy, forecasting, operational planning, marketing activation & relationship building the key disciplines you'll be responsible for as part of a dynamic, exciting team.

What you'll be doing:
• Ensuring strong relationships are built internally & externally
• Development & Implementation of joint business plans with external partners
• Monitoring and communicating key targets/performance/trends within your business area
• Work cross-functionally to lead and develop the commercial element of product launches and key calendar events
• Applying a considered negotiation approach/plan for all investment, ensuring trading decisions and precedents are robust
• Clearly understand & articulate media valuation terminology
• Understanding the retailer customer segmentation and data targeting opportunities within
• Understanding retailer ATL strategy and opportunities for co-marketing
• Evaluation and implementation of effective Retail Marketing campaigns – having a clear view on all touch points (in store and online), timelines and retailer strengths / capabilities
• Manage the retail planning and activation cycle, ensuring quality delivery and follow-up
• Accurate product volume forecasting driven by data and insight
• Close integration cross-functionally to ensure operational & finance processes remain controlled and optimised
• Energy and contribution in meetings
• A team first approach to decision making
• Bring challenge and accept challenge with an open mind across all levels of the business

What we're looking for:
• Proven experience in a commercial environment (5+ years)
• Entrepreneurial spirit – embraces working in a fast paced and at times ambiguous business environment
• Retail marketing expertise – particularly within the eCommerce world
• Strong relationship building skills with both internal and external partners
• Strong data and analytical ability
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and develop your own capability and to support wider team growth
• Strong computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• A team player and someone who embraces the fun, collaborative spirit that drives our PlayStation business
• Degree educated (ideally)
