The Global Account Management (GAM) team is the primary commercial and relationship hub for Third-Party partners. We are seeking a top-performing Director of Business Management/Chief of Staff for our global team to drive organizational alignment, operational excellence, and communications. Elevating GAM as a high impact team driving Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) priorities, our partners business, and overall partner satisfaction.

This role is a key member of the GAM Leadership Team and is responsible for managing all aspects of Business Management, Operations, Team Engagement, and Communications for the team of 60+ account managers across the globe. Partnering with the Head of Global Account management and Leadership Team, this inspirational leader will play a key role in developing a team culture that motivates and drives alignment on activities. This individual has strong business acumen, a solid grasp of business operations, and a passion for culture and values. This role reports into the Head of Global Account Management and will be their proxy in critical meetings both within the immediate organization, larger company, and in cross team initiatives. The Chief of Staff will be a sounding board to the GAM organization on how to better drive strategy and execution.

This leader will be an advocate for our team's needs and create strong partnerships with key collaborators such as Partner Marketing, Portfolio, Partner Operations, D2C, GSBO, and other organizations within GPDR and SIE. Experience in business management and communications is required as well as unparalleled operational and organizational capability. This individual will be the champion for driving meaningful growth and results.

Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
• Define a strategy that fosters a rich team culture, enhances employee satisfaction and retention, and drives a hard-working team.
• Collaborate with the Leadership Team to prepare key priorities for the coming quarter, month and week, and ensure organization is aligned to those priorities.
• Lead global rhythm-of-the-business (ROB) that cascades into our partner engagements.
• Lead budget management; experience in handling large and sophisticated budgets
• Lead annual fiscal year planning process, ensuring alignment with key partners on resourcing and prioritization of initiatives.
• Lead headcount processes including discussions and decision-making about optimal resourcing and hiring practices. Maintain headcount plan within budget.
• Handle vendor resourcing strategy including investment allocation and PO processes.
• Detailed planning of OKRs and critical metrics, including status update process.
• Prepare and handle reporting of team progress across key engagements and priorities.
• Prepare keynote presentations and briefing documents for meetings, summits, and conferences.
• Lead the planning process and calendar for the organization while ensuring coordination, and alignment with corporate planning. This includes monthly and quarterly business reviews, leadership team off sites, leadership team staff meetings.

Communication & Culture:
• Coach, care and model as a member of the GAM Leadership Team.
• Provide constructive feedback to the Leadership Team in areas that opportunities exist to improve.
• Drive GAM and internal communications strategy and employee engagement plan.
• Ability to run a high degree of complexity and to distill information into simple messages.
• Lead culture initiatives across organization including annual workstream planning and Glint response plan.
• Develop and lead programs/strategy to support diverse and inclusion efforts inclusive of hiring practices and employee and manager programs.
• Ensure GAM strategies and initiatives are aligned to SIE priorities, and that partner organizations understand GAM objectives
Organizational Alignment And Advocacy:
• Be a trusted advisor for the Head of Global Account Management and Leadership Team. Be their eyes and ears of the organization helping them think through the best ways to optimize the inner workings of the organization to help achieve collective goals.
• Anticipate the needs of the head and the organization, enabling the leadership team to operate more effectively and efficiently.
• Lead organization-wide engagements, such as all-hands meetings, learning days, offsites, etc.
• Drive valuable perspective, alignment and enablement across the Leadership Team ensuring coordination and prioritization.
• Lead weekly LT staff meetings, drive alignment across topics, and create a forum and facilitation for the leadership team to operate as effectively and efficiently as possible.
• Facilitate the engagements between cross functional teams, and other internal partners to ensure tight alignment and help remove any barriers to success.
• Be able to successfully engage with external partners to drive organizational impact.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years' experience in a commercial operations, business management, or chief-of-staff role (10+ preferred)
• BA/BS from an accredited college/university and at least 10 years of relevant professional experience
